1. Kris Dunn of Providence was selected as the 2015-2016 best player in college basketball. Dunn excels on both sides of the ball and knows how to run a team. He had strong 2014-2015 campaign in which he earned CO BIG EAST Player of the Year and CO Defensive Player of the Year. He is currently listed as a lottery pick in most mock drafts. 22. DeAndre Bembry of Saint Joseph's is a full energy and effort player. He finishes well in traffic and through contact. Shoots the ball well off the catch and looks to run whenever possible. He has the ability to guard multiple positions. Produced a PER of 18.74 last season. 39. Sterling Gibbs of UConn will bring value and a steady point guard with experience. He played big for Seton Hall last season and will have a great impact as a transfer. 48. Daniel Hamilton of UConn brings length and athleticism to the Huskies with the ability to score in a variety of ways. The returning AAC Rookie of the Year will have an increased role this season. 52. A.J. English of Iona could potentially be a Top 25 player but only time will tell. He has the ability to play both guard positions. Standing at 6'4" with a solid build he pretty much gets wherever he wants on the court. He's a pure scorer but what stands out most is his efficiency. 2014-2015 PER: 19.10. 56. E.C. Matthews of Rhode Island is a quick athletic point guard with all the tools to play at the next level. He shoots it well from long range and has the ability to get into the paint. He also has good size standing at 6'4"-6'5". He will need to be more efficient this season in order to take the next step in his career. 66. Expectations are high for Jalen Brunson of Villanova. The Preseason BIG EAST Rookie of the Year should have a solid campaign. He has a great basketball IQ and it is sure to carry over this season. 78. Amida Brimah of UConn blocked 121 shots last season leading the nation. The reigning AAC Defensive Player of the Year looks to produced more this season on the offensive end. He is almost automatic in the paint ending last season with a 67% FG percentage. He actually went 13-13 last season at home vs. Coppin State, an impressive outcome. 79. Maodo Lo is one of the best players and shooters in Columbia history. He will bring a lot of experience this season after playing with the German National Team last summer. The IVY league is always competitive and this year will not be any different. 81. Daniel Ochefu of Villanova is one of the best rebounders in the country. He fits perfectly in the Villanova system and plays within himself. He is almost automatic in the paint and it doesn't hurt playing with great guards. 90. Hassan Martin is an athletic forward who uses his ability on both ends to change the game. He's explosive at the rim and continues to improve on the offensive end. Has shown the ability to knock down the 15 footer consistently. Produced a PER of 17.30 last season and 3.1 blocks per game. 92. Isaiah Whitehead of Seton Hall has a lot to prove this season. The highly recruited guard had a good season, but has the ability to take his game to another level. Expectations are high this season. 93. Jameel Warney of Stony Brook could easily be considered a Top 25 player. He has good hands
and a soft touch around the rim. He has earned numerous awards during his time at Stony Brook which includes back to back American East Player of the Year Awards. |
