Donte DiVincenzo has quickly become one of my favorite players to watch this season. He's a tough athletic guard with the ability to knockdown shots and serve as a playmaker. In addition, he's consistent, especially over the last 11 games. He has a PER of 14.65, which is slightly under the national average of 15.00, but that isn't a great indicator of his productivity and effectiveness. He's a great complimentary piece to Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson, utilizing the role once held by guys such as Kris Jenkins, Josh Hart, Darrun Hilliard, James Bell and other Villanova greats. As the season progresses, I see his role becoming influential in a championship run. When teams begin to lock in on Mikal and Jalen he will prove to be the much needed X-Factor.
