Elmore is an uptempo point guard who has a great feel for the game. Pure shooter who effectively shoots it from anywhere on the court. He has a fluid release on his shot, but most importantly he knows how to create space using his step back. He doesn't have an elite first step, but effective, most of his shots come from brush screens or pull-ups in transition. He has ability to shoot the ball from deep but occasionally he'll pull up a few steps past half court, questionable shot selection or program philosophy. In pick and roll situations he's very good, 0.91 PPP, Synergy. He turns the corner well which allows him to determine his next move. He plays well in space and utilizes his dribble, never any wasted dribbles after the screen. He's a crafty scorer going downhill capable of finishing with both hands. He uses his body to draw contact and get to the line, 232-281, 7 attempts per game along with a variety of spin moves. He's an average athlete, but his feel for the game makes up for it. He sees the floor very well getting the ball to the right spots. Elmore is required to do a lot for the team and play a ton of minutes, therefore his numbers and efficiency rating are impressive but sometimes he racks up the turnovers.
