De'Andre Hunter has a ton of potential and if he is able to stay healthy his stock will rise this season. He shoots the mid range jumper well (Spot Up - 1.00 PPP, Synergy) and has the ability to put the ball on the floor or score on the move (1.24 PPP, 59%, Synergy). He has the ability to play inside and out, which makes him a tough match up. Last season he matched up against bigs often and his isolation numbers proved he was successful (ISO 1.10 PPP, 60%, Synergy). He's a decent athlete, but not overwhelming. He's a long player and rangy player, who runs in stride, not necessarily fast. He has a natural feel, very skilled in different aspects of the game. He can serve as a secondary ball handler if needed. He's an underrated rebounder, 7 rpg, (2.3 offensive rebs) per 40 min, which is exceptional for someone playing his position.
