He doesn't have an elite first step or overwhelming athleticism but knows how to create space in order to operate. Opponents have to respect his range and speed in the open court, 1.07 PPP, 55%, Synergy. Often this season he would pull up from deep but he's an instinctual player who takes what the defense is giving him.
He utilizes screens well, especially out of the Horns set which provides him with a number of options. He sees the floor very well and finds ways to make the right play. You would expect a guy of his stature to struggle to finish over length but he has a nice touch on his floater, runner, and a variety of moves with the capability of finishing with both hands. Underrated rebounder for his size 4 per 40 mins. He can be a defensive liability at times, but still manages to collect steals, 2.06 per game.
